He has travelled the world both learning and teaching cryosurgery.

The clinic

The Kerry Skin Clinic provides medical, surgical, laser and cosmetic dermatology. The team uses diagnostic and therapeutic equipment including computer-aided diagnosis and lasers. Techniques used at the clinic include pulsed dye lasers, intense pulsed light, cryosurgery, radiosurgery, microneedling, anti-wrinkle injections, and allergy testing including skin prick testing and patch testing.

Dr Buckley is internationally recognised for his expertise in cryosurgery, and offers the latest techniques for treating warts, verrucae, keloids, selected skin cancers and other benign and malignant skin tumours by freezing. The technique uses extremely cold liquids or gases to destroy unwanted tissue selectively, with a high cure rate and good cosmetic results in most cases.

Beyond scar treatment, the clinic offers a wide range of medical dermatology, including treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis and leg ulcers, and surgical dermatology for the removal of cysts, ingrown toenails and benign skin tumours. Suspicious moles can be assessed with skin microscopy, digital photography and AI-assisted diagnosis, with head-to-toe mole mapping available.

Arranging an appointment

If you have a medical or surgical dermatological problem, phone or email the clinic to arrange an appointment with Dr Buckley.

For cosmetic concerns, a free initial consultation is available with one of the clinic's dermatology nurses, where the treatment options can be explored and explained.
